presenting „The Golden-age of jazz”

Daniel Hofecker – Trumpet

Matyas Bartha – Piano

Matyas Papp – Trombone

The Coquette Trio is one of the most unique trios in the world. They play the music of the 1930’s, 40’s in an unusual instrumentation. The two horns and the piano make you dance with Swing, hot-jazz, dixieland. After playing together for years in different formations, they have decided to found this trio and later it’s larger edition, The Coquette Jazz Band. Their program contains evergreens from a very large repertoire of jazz. They play dixieland, swing tunes and also not afraid to touch songs from the Bebop Era with their own taste to the music.

The members of the band are based in Austria, where they take an important part of the jazz scene. Their goal is to bring joy to the audience by bringing back the music of the „Golden-age of jazz”. You don’t have to love jazz music to be able to enjoy their concert, but if you do, you will recognize some of the famous melodies of the last century.
